Quality Control

Rode Welding’s ASME quality assurance system tracks material and process quality for everything used in your fabrication and provides documentation for each step of construction. Our engineers, inspectors, and non-destructive testing personnel work closely with our customer’s specifications to insure that all quality requirements are met and documented.

Rode Welding is authorized to produce fabrications, rolled and welded cylinders and pressure vessels under the ASME Code, Section VIII-Div. 1.

• ASME Section VIII, Division 1, “U” Code Stamp
• National Board Inspection, “R” and “NB” Stamp

All welding procedures and welders are tested and certified under ASME Section IX.

Rode Welding can also produce fabrications meeting the following code requirements:

• AWS D1.1
• NAVSEA (MIL STD-248)
• ABS

On staff inspectors are ASNT SNT-TC-1A Certified Level II for the following:

• Visual Inspection
• Liquid Penetrant (PT)
• Magnetic Particle (MT) wet or dry
• Ultrasonic (UT)
• Radiography (RT)
